Security general of Youth party of Iran

Mahdi Agha Alikhani has got a BA in Political Science and soon after, in 2004, that he got his master’s degree in International Relations..

With the help of some young, enlightened political activists, Alikhani established the Iranian Youth Party in 1998 with his appointed as head of the party’s Political Committee. The establishment of the party was a result of the former Iranian President Mohammad Khatami's landslide victory in the 1997 presidential elections and the consequent period of freedom of speech (expression) and political development in Iran.
He has been Secretary General of the Youth Party since his election to the post in the first national meeting of the Party’s congress in the 2003.

In addition to his political activities, his articles have been published in different magazines and newspapers. He is the author of a book about political and natural geography of Iran and the world, and two other books about the history of literature.

Alikhani was the undersecretary of the International Committee of Islamic Republic of Iran's House of Parties from 2003 to 2005. He has also been a member of the Central Council of this house and the director of its International Committee from 2005.
